Apostle Sharon Bryant-Sanders is truly a vessel chosen by God to do mighty works in His kingdom. Awakening her from a deep sleep one night in October of 1989, God placed an undeniable call, thus she answered the calling and anointing upon her life to minister His gospel.
In May 1994, the ministry God birthed into her spirit began with a Bible Study. A Touch From Above Faith Center held its first Sunday Worship Service on January 1, 1995. Since that time, God has used the ministry to increasingly enrich and mature the Body of Christ.
Apostle Sanders’ vibrant, evangelical ministry has been a blessing to congregations throughout the East Coast and Northeastern states. A sought after revivalist and guest preacher, Apostle Sanders also serves on the Board of Directors for Fostering Leadership and Ministry Excellence (“The FLAME”) which is a ministry under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Dwight Riddick, Pastor of Gethsemane Baptist Church, Newport News, VA. FLAME provides spiritual covering and mentoring to senior pastors and leaders within the fellowship of the Para-church Organizations.
Apostle Sanders received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management from Elizabeth City State University in May 1984. In March 2014, Apostle Sanders enrolled in Apex School of Theology pursuing a Master’s degree in Theology. On May 17, 2015, after serving faithfully in ministry for 20 years, Apostle Sanders was awarded a Doctorate of Ministry from the Bread of Life Bible Institute.
Apostle Sharon Sanders has two sons, Joshua Izaiah and Alton Elijah Sanders, II. A native of New Bern, NC, Apostle Sanders is the youngest of the late Mr. Frank and Mrs. Naomi Bryant's five daughters. Through the gifts of prophecy and teaching placed within His vessel, God is constantly changing lives to His glory and honor. Apostle Sharon Sanders’ life is a wonderful testimony of the marvelous works that God will do through and for His people, when they yield themselves to Him.
